Utilizing a three-inch solid brass ring and a length of velvet cord, the performer accomplishes a series of breathtaking “no-move” penetrations:

• The cord is stretched out on the table and the ring is threaded well onto it. Suddenly, while all eyes are on the ring, the cord is seen to melt through it visibly.

• The ring now penetrates back onto the cord while both are securely pinned against the table by the spectator! At no time do the performer's hands come near the ring or cord!

• Once more the ring is threaded back onto the cord and a pocket mirror is introduced. The mirror is positioned atop the ring in such a way as to create the illusion of the cord penetrating the ring. Illusion becomes a reality as the mirror is slid away to reveal that the cord has indeed penetrated the ring once more!
