Owen Magic Supreme

The Finest in Magic

Owen Magic Supreme has long been recognized as one of the premier manufacturers of magical apparatus, known for its exquisite craftsmanship and enduring legacy. Its roots trace back to the Thayer Magic Company, founded in 1902 by Floyd G. Thayer, a pioneer in the design and construction of magical props. Thayer’s creations were celebrated for their precision, beauty, and innovation, attracting top magicians from around the world.

In 1933, Carl Owen, a talented craftsman working for Thayer, acquired the business. Over time, Owen rebranded the company as Owen Magic Supreme, continuing and expanding upon Thayer’s tradition of excellence. Under Owen’s leadership, the company became synonymous with world-class magical apparatus, creating illusions for legendary performers such as Harry Blackstone Sr., Dante, and Doug Henning. Every piece was meticulously handcrafted, combining form and function in a way that made Owen Magic Supreme a favorite among professionals and collectors alike.
