Recently added to our collection following its appearance at Potter & Potter Auctions, this ca. 1905 window card for Maro, Prince of Magic was printed by Thayer & Jackson of Chicago. Combining a dramatic photographic portrait with bold red typography, it is an excellent example of early magic advertising and the graphic design that helped define an era of theatrical performance.

The Magic of Slydini… And More
Originally issued under the title The Magic of Slydini… And More, this scarce first issue was quickly withdrawn following a publishing rights dispute and later reissued as The Best of Slydini… And More. Only about 100 copies were released under the original title. This copy is inscribed by Slydini to Sol Stone, uniting two legendary names in close-up magic.
