Kid Magician, Ad Guy, Wonderer.

My life changed in the early 1990s when my Dad took me to see David Copperfield perform at the beautiful Warner Theatre in Erie, Pennsylvania. That evening wasn’t just a show—it was life-changing magic. It sparked a passion that fueled my dreams, gave me the courage to take risks, and taught me to believe in the impossible.

At 15, that passion inspired me to start my first business, Magic Just for Kids. Years later, it gave me the confidence to move to New York City and pursue a career in advertising. Through it all, the wonder and creativity of magic have been a constant force in my life.

Today, as a collector of rare and vintage magic apparatus, I feel the same sense of awe I did as a kid watching Copperfield’s illusions. Collecting isn’t just about the objects—it’s about preserving the stories, artistry, and craftsmanship that make magic timeless.

The Magic Collector began as a way to catalog a growing collection, but it quickly became something more: a place to connect with others who share a passion for preserving magic history.

If something here speaks to you, please reach out. The ultimate joy of collecting is sharing.
