Demon Arm Chopper
You show your audience a guillotine which comprises a stand and a blade fixed into a wooden frame. The blade extends out either side of the frame so that it is always in view. There are two sets of holes in the frame. A large hole in the middle and a smaller set of three holes at the bottom. The frame can be opened and the blade assembly can be removed and shown to be quite normal. The blade is replaced into the frame and the frame closed. You now place your arm as far as it will go into the hole (or that of a spectator) and a carrot is placed in the centre of the three holes at the bottom. The blade is brought down and it is found that the carrot is cut in half, but the arm is completely unharmed.
