A spectator is shown an ordinary book and is asked to choose any page from its 326 pages. The mentalist claims to have memorized the third word on the sixth line of every page.
Once the spectator names a page number, the mentalist writes a word on a piece of paper in full view. The spectator then reads the selected word from the book, and when the paper is opened, it reveals an exact match.
