Vanishing Alarm Clock. H. Marshall & Co., ca. 1950s [?]
A classic piece of mid-century conjuring apparatus. A ringing alarm clock is shown resting on a tray and covered with a cloth. With a final glimpse of the clock still ticking, the cloth is whisked away—and the clock is gone!
This clever illusion features a built-in mechanical bell and gimmicked housing to create the startling vanish.
One leg has been replaced with a small screw, and a piece of tape reinforces one corner. Offered as found—fully functional and display-worthy. Light wear and soiling consistent with age. No cloth or instructions. Measures approximately 14” x 10.75”. A fine example of vintage stage magic from the inventive minds at H. Marshall & Co.
