Ghost Glass, ca. 1940s
A framed pane of glass is displayed as solid throughout. The central arm is turned to any position; a needle is then pushed cleanly through the arm and the glass. When withdrawn, the glass is once again shown unmistakably solid. Original glass model devised by Richard Himber; chrome-plated frame, measures approximately 4 × 4 inches. Scarce.
