Magic Flashlight

$40.00

El Duco’s Magic Flashlight

The magician shows a red silk which he pushes into his left fist. A spectator is handed a flashlight and asked to point the lamp towards the hand with the silk. The spectator has a problem with the flashlight, because it will not light. You ask him to check the battery. When he opens the lamp, he finds that the battery is gone, instead, there is the red silk. When the magician opens his hand, there is the battery! You give the spectator the battery and ask him to put it back into the flashlight. Once again you put the silk into your fist. Now the spectator aims the flashlight at the hand so the beam reaches the hand. When you open the hand, the silk is gone. All materials can be examined. Includes instructions. Very good condition.

Overview:

  • Maker: El Duco, 1985

  • Materials: Metal, plastic

  • Dimensions: 5”

  • Hallmark: No

  • Instructions: Original instructions included

  • Condition: Very good. Minor wear to flashlight

Important Note: The original real battery from 1985 went dead. The closest replacement I could find is a bit smaller and a different brand. I've used it, and no one ever noticed because you're using the fake battery shell like a thumb tip, and it gets switched out for the real one (it wasn't meant to be seen). The real/replacement battery is rechargeable.
