Rabbit Through Glass, ca. 2000s
A beautifully crafted illusion rooted in the classic Thayer/Owen tradition but from a more recent unknown maker. A rabbit—or any small object—visibly passes through what appears to be a solid pane of circular glass.
Plexiglass is mounted in an ornate wooden frame with scrollwork detailing and rests on a turned wooden base. A striking display piece that doubles as a real fooler. Measures 26 inches tall, very good condition.
