A square tube with an open front is shown empty. A cylinder is also shown to be empty and then placed inside the square tube. A large production is then made from the cylinder.

A large white die vanishes from within the framework box only to be discovered elsewhere. Includes die, box, gimmick and pedestal. Box 3 ½ x 3 ½ x 3 ½”. Hallmarked. Fine Condition.

A contemporary interpretation of the classic sucker die box, substituting a brightly colored Rubik’s Cube for the traditional die. Finely crafted hardwood cabinet with inlaid panels and dual magnetic doors allowing the familiar side-to-side vanish and reappearance. Hallmarked. Measures approximately 3½ × 6½”.

The center block, from a stack of three, vanishes and is found in a hat or paper bag which has previously been shown empty. Beautifully constructed by Mel Babcock. Measures  approximate 6” tall by 2 ¼ square, hallmarked on bottom.

A finely crafted wooden ladder designed for the classic stage effect in which coins appear from the air and audibly cascade down the rungs. Cleverly gimmicked to facilitate the production sequence. One of only twelve constructed by Babcock. One latch slightly loose; otherwise very good condition. Height 33”.

A mechanical mystery: A wooden block fitted with a slot, wing nut, and bolt. A coin is inserted into the slot and securely locked in place by the bolt. Yet, at the magician’s command, the impossible occurs—the coin visibly penetrates the solid bolt and drops cleanly into the spectator’s waiting hand. Beautifully made and hallmarked.
