A whimsical penetration effect built around oversized sewing implements. A large wooden spool of thread and chrome-plated needle are shown. A length of ribbon is threaded through the eye, and on command the needle visibly penetrates the ribbon. An appealing mid-century Abbott’s parlor piece. Minor wear to the wood finish and light surface scratches to the needle head; overall good condition. Spool height 2¾”.
