Finely crafted mahogany box with brass fittings, accompanied by a smaller matching coin box. In performance, a half dollar placed inside the sliding box vanishes—only to reappear moments later inside the second, smaller box. A clever variation on the classic die box principle. Smaller box hallmarked. 3¼ x 2 x 1”. Minor wear to finish. Scarce.
