An elegant early-20th-century transformation set in nickel-plated metal. Cotton, silk, or confetti placed into the individual vessels are visibly changed into hot coffee, cream, and sugar. The group comprises a prepared coffee pot, creamer, and lidded sugar bowl. Tallest piece 8 ¾”. Light tarnish and wear consistent with age. Very good condition. From the collection of Edwin Dawes.
