Miracle Dove Act. Grant/MAK Magic, ca. 1980s
A stage effect in which one or two doves are removed from a cage and placed into a small chest. The chest is then taken apart piece by piece, showing the doves have vanished. With a wave of the hand, the doves visibly reappear back in the cage.
Attractive blue, black, and copper-finished props with peacock-themed decoration. Among the more expensive offerings in the Grant/MAK catalog. Includes photocopied instructions. Cage measures 15 × 10.5 × 8.5”. Chest measures 13.5 × 9 × 6”. Excellent, near mint condition.
