A faux snake is thrown into a woven basket along with a pack of cards. After comedic by-play, the snake rises from the basket with the selected card in its mouth. Constructed with a handwoven basket, painted carved wooden snake head, and clockwork-style wind-up mechanism. In very good working condition. Measures approximately 12 inches high. Abbott sourced many of the woven baskets used in its effects during this period from local Potawatomi artisans in the surrounding Michigan area. Photocopied instructions. Very good condition.
