A classic Thayer penetration effect. Two open tubes are separated by a solid pane of glass. When a wooden block is dropped into the upper tube, it passes visibly through the glass and arrives in the lower tube. Tubes measure 3 × 3 × 8”. Includes tubes, block, shells, and three heavy glass panes. Minor wear consistent with age. Mechanism fully functional. Very good condition. Scarce.
