Egyptian-themed block penetration apparatus produced by Joe Long and Paul Lembo as a limited edition of twelve examples, inspired by an exceptionally rare original effect created by German magician, historian, and collector Rüdiger Deutsch (1941–2015).
A decorated upright cabinet is shown empty before a decorated block is secured within by a wand passing through it. In full view, the block visibly penetrates the upper wand, descends through the cabinet, and comes to rest impaled on a second wand below. The cabinet is ultimately shown empty and the block removed cleanly.
Notable for its unusual working: no extra blocks, shells, or duplicate pieces are employed. Includes cabinet, block, stand, wands, and instructions. Cabinet approximately 8.5” high; block approximately 2.5” square. In as-new condition. Click here to view a performance by Andy Martin.
