An early packet effect by Lin Searles, first advertised by Owen Brothers in The Linking Ring in May 1959. The routine centers on a group of ravenous Jacks that gradually devour the remaining cards in the packet, creating an unusually macabre presentation for its era.
Includes the original illustrated Owen Brothers envelope, typed instruction sheets, warning envelope, original tweezers, gimmick, and partial card set. Together, they preserve an uncommon surviving example of this early Owen Brothers release.
Card packet incomplete, with at least two cards believed to be missing. Light wear and toning consistent with age and use. Good condition overall.
