Colon, Michigan “Magic Capital of the World” Lapel Pin Collection. 1987–1995.
A collection of seven enamel lapel pins celebrating Colon, Michigan, the self-proclaimed “Magic Capital of the World.” Produced over a span of years, the group illustrates the variety of commemorative designs created to promote the town’s rich magical heritage, with imagery including rabbits, top hats, playing cards, a lion, and other classic symbols of conjuring.
Included are dated examples from 1987, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, and 1995, together with one undated example. Several pins incorporate the Lions Club emblem, reflecting the organization’s longstanding support of Colon’s annual magic celebrations.
Light wear consistent with age and use. Very good condition overall.
