Palace Music Hall Program Featuring The Great Nicola. Week of June 13, 1926.

Original Palace Music Hall program for the week of June 13, 1926, featuring The Great Nicola as the sixth act on a vaudeville bill that also included aerial performers, dancers, comedians, singers, and jugglers.

The program promotes Nicola as “The Most Amazing Mystic of All Times” and “The Only White Man to Beat the Fakirs of the Far East at Their Own Game,” presenting “A Wonder Show—Deception of Every Description.” Also noted is the inclusion of Nicola’s “Sensational Trunk Mystery,” one of the featured illusions in his touring repertoire during the height of his vaudeville career.

Printed on both sides, the program provides a period snapshot of a complete 1920s vaudeville bill and documents Nicola’s appearance alongside a diverse cast of variety entertainers. Dated June 13, 1926.

Measures 8 × 4.5”. Light age toning only, with minimal wear. An unusually well-preserved example. Very good to excellent condition overall. An uncommon piece of Nicola ephemera from the golden age of American vaudeville.
