Novelty ventriloquial necktie incorporating a concealed spring mechanism that opens and closes a mouth formed in the front of the tie, operated by a control from the reverse.
Originally created by Kevin Detweiler and later produced under license by Lovik World, the Talking Tie became one of Detweiler’s most popular novelty puppets, with hundreds reportedly sold through magic dealers. Designed for use by ventriloquists as well as magicians and novelty performers. Burgundy fabric with brass fittings forming the eyes. The effect was sufficiently popular that a separate booklet of routines, Tie-Alogues, was produced for it. Very good.
