Davenports Twin Release (Double Block Release)

The performer shows a small cabinet in which there are 6 coloured blocks. The blocks are tipped out onto the table and each is seen to have a hole running through it, corresponding to a hole on each side of the cabinet.

A spectator is asked to select any 2 of the colours and the performer then replaces the blocks back into the cabinet and the door is closed. The performer now inserts a small magic wand through the cabinet, thus securing the blocks in it. A spectator is asked to hold each end of the wand so that nothing can escape. The door is opened and the cabinet revolves around the miniature wand. The 2 selected flip out across the table having appeared to penetrate the wand! All can now be inspected.
