The Goof Ball

$40.00

The Goof Ball. Bev Taylor / Town House Magic, ca. 1950s–60s.

A pocket novelty effect by Bev Taylor in which two identical-looking rubber balls exhibit contrasting properties. One ball rebounds normally when dropped, while the other appears nearly lifeless, allowing a variety of comedy presentations and sleight-of-hand sequences. The original instructions include additional routine suggestions by Bobo.

Includes the original labeled container, two original rubber balls, and typed instructions.

Container exhibits moderate wear from age and use, including surface wear, edge wear, and loss to the paper covering the lid. Instructions show folds and age toning consistent with storage. Both original rubber balls remain soft, pliable, and in remarkably well-preserved condition with light handling wear. Good condition overall.
