Finely made solid brass apparatus for a torn-and-restored cigarette paper effect. A sheet of cigarette paper is torn into pieces and impaled on the hatpin before being crumpled into a ball; the paper is subsequently revealed restored.
Developed by Larry White from an earlier effect and manufactured by General Grant. Limited to 50 examples. Includes illustrated cigarette papers and a Linking Ring Magazine review describing the effect and its history. The review bears handwritten notation dating it to June 2003. Instructions not included. Very good.
