Magical Block. Adams, ca. 1940s–50s.
A pocket magic effect in which a borrowed penny is covered with a small block and instantly transforms into a dime. One of the many simple yet ingenious novelties produced by S.S. Adams during the mid-twentieth century.
Complete with the original red block, metal band, and illustrated instruction card. The instruction card doubles as the original display backing and advertising piece.
Light wear from age and handling, including minor creasing and toning to the card. The block retains its original finish. Very good condition overall.
