Bev Bergeron, ca. 1990
Two sponge rubber rabbits are displayed and placed separately—one in the performer’s hand and one in the spectator’s. When the spectator opens their hand, both “Mama” and “Daddy” rabbits are found together. The spectator is then asked to hold both. With a final magical gesture, the spectator opens their hand to reveal the pair accompanied by a cluster of baby rabbits.
