Tannen’s, ca. 1960s
A chosen and initialed card vanishes from a deck—only to reappear sealed inside the zippered compartment of the magician’s wallet. The effect begins with a freely selected card, lost in the deck and shuffled. When the performer spreads the cards, one is seen reversed—but it proves to be the wrong one. With a wry smile, he reaches into his inside pocket, producing a wallet he “always carries as a spare.” From the zippered compartment, the spectator’s signed card is withdrawn. Complete with the original instructions and supplies used to create the gimmick. Measures 6¾ × 3¾”. Very good condition.
