Easy-Way-Out Dove Production. Nielsen Magic, ca. 1970s–80s.
From the Johnny Thompson Collection. A dove production apparatus developed by Nielsen-Thompson, allowing a live dove to be produced from a silk handkerchief. The blue fabric holder conceals the dove in the performer's jacket pocket until the moment of production. Includes original illustrated instructions and printed envelope. Shows minor wear from age and use, including light staining to the fabric and wear to the envelope. Previously owned by magician Johnny Thompson (The Great Tomsoni). Includes a certificate of provenance documenting its association with the Johnny Thompson collection.
