Nickel-plated metal cabinet fitted with opposing knobs and drop-down front and rear panels, permitting the interior to be shown empty. A fixed, ventilated rear compartment remains concealed during display and was likely intended to house a small bird prior to production. Interior painted red. Riveted construction. Surface wear consistent with age. Approx. 7” long (including knobs), 3.75” deep, 3.5” high. Weight approx. 1 lb 12 oz. Very good. Uncommon.
