Vanishing Salt Trick. Al Baker, ca. 1940
A classic Baker creation employing an ordinary household salt shaker. The performer removes the screen top, drapes a borrowed handkerchief over the loosely closed fist, and pours salt into the makeshift pocket until only a small quantity remains in the shaker. The handkerchief is then tossed into the air—fluttering down empty, the salt having entirely vanished. Complete with original printed instructions. Very good condition.
